We are seeking a long-term home as we move to Victoria to pursue education and work opportunities. Great references, locked in jobs when we arrive, and just in general good people. Seeking shared or private accommodations - willing to try anything as long as there is a foundation of respect and honesty.
Who are we? A little family of a husband, wife, and cat coming to the coast to make a home and become active community members. We love building, creating, exploring, sharing, and are active in environmental and arts work/activities. The wife makes coffee downtown and studies environmental practice, the husband works for IATSE to create sound in theatres, and the cat is mature and likes to relax in the sun all day.
Things we like: long list - all awesome. Highlights would include cycling interesting places, making food that get's your belly singing, reading stories to Tina, playing disc sports and board games, climbing trees, doing dishes, and being friends.
Things we don't like: short list - not awesome. Highlights include pop country music, bad attitudes, books with pages missing, and how few pinball machines there are in Victoria.
Let us know if you have anything coming up! We have a couple of close friends in Victoria ready to meet potential homes and have also found success holding Skype interviews while we round out our business here in Calgary.
