Space Heater ~ Vintage 50's Art Deco "Bullet Style" - $145 in Calgary, Alberta for sale

Torcan model H064 space heater manufactured by the Rotor Electric Company Ltd. (1952 - 1956) out of Toronto, Ontario. This vintage 1950's heater has two settings ~ Fan only or fan with 1500 watts of heat. The Art Deco "bullet" housing is made of aluminum for weight reduction & durability.

The Torcan space heaters are a real part of Canadiana history. I was told that you couldn't visit a farm fifty years ago without bumping into one. This model can even be found at the Manitoba Electrical Museum in Winnipeg. This unit has been fully serviced and works fine with the original "fabric" multi-colour braid electric cord.
