We have developed this complete 12mm axle kit so you can convert your DT Swiss 240 QR hubs to the new 12x100 thru-bolt standard for road and cyclocross forks. This works with the regular quick release or 9mm DT Swiss 240 hubs - not the oversized version. The kit works with center lock disc hubs but does not fit the six bolt disc hubs, see our other auctions for the six bolt kit. A great way to keep your wheels and use the stiffer 12mm axle. We have even supplied the best Enduro Zero ceramic bearings so you will roll faster too.Here is what's included: 1 - Billet aluminum 12mm axle 2 - Billet aluminum end caps, anodized black 2 - Enduro Zero Ceramic bearings. Fits Centerlock disc brake hub.Weight of the kit is 54grs which is eleven grams lighter than the parts it replaces for the 9mm axle.Installation is simple, same as replacing bearings. Remove the stock end caps, press out the axle and bearings then press in our new axle and bearings and pop in the new 12mm end caps.
