Custom built cold-molded cutter rigged sailboat is ready to set sail. She was launched in Vancouver in 2006 and proved herself as a reliable off shore vessel while sailing from British Columbia to sunny Manzanillo, Mexico. She has been a comfortable liveabord for the past eight winters and is presently in dry dock in San Carlos, Mx (only a few hours drive from Phoenix or Tuscon) where she is awaiting a new captain and crew. Her sail package includes a 360sq.ft. main sail with double reefing points, a 360 sq. feet Jib, a 500 square ft Genoa and a staysail. There are also two -9 oz orange storm sails and a small anchor riding sail. Her Raymarine TriData Auto Pilot system along with the Whitlock steering system is very efficient and she requires very few sail changes. She practically sails herself. Radar and EPIRB are mounted in cockpit for easy access. A Simpson Lawrence Electric Anchor Windlass with the custom designed bow rollers make for easy launching and retrieval of the 2 main anchors.A hard dodger with Lexan windshield keep the center cockpit dry from rain and waves and a Sunbrella Bimini with side curtains provides much needed shade from the sun.The forward V-berth has a bunk bed arrangement, the settee in the main cabin can be pre-owned as a 3/4 bunk and the private aft stateroom has a queen size bed. There are 2 heads, one forward on the starboard side, the other aft on the port side.In the spacious galley is a Force ten propane stove with 3 burners, oven and broiler. An Adler Barber Coolmatic twelve volt cooling unit for the fridge and freezer, a Daewoo washing machine with stainless steel tub and a Paloma demand hot water heater and a pressure water system provide all the comforts of home. Freshwater capacity is 50gals divided equally on either side, housed in stainless steel tanks. The Power Survivor water maker produces 25 litres per hour for your offshore water needs and a water filtration system for making dock water potable is easily attached to the water hose. The electrical system consists of four golf cart batteries housed under the companion way stairs and four 75watt matrix solar panels mounted on the dodger and bimini. The vessel is powered by an Isuzu 3LD1 35HP diesel with a Hurth transmission. There are presently about 2000 hours on the engine. It was marinized by Klassen Diesel in Delta BC with a heat exchanger, stainless steel mixer elbow, raw water pump and 110 amp alternator. There are 2 Racor 500FG fuel filters allowing seperate filtering from the fuel tanks on either side. The engine compartment is lined with noice reduction material and the engine is easily accessible from either side.The propellor shaft is protected by a propeller saver and has a Norscot dripless seal.
