It's the ideal gentleman's luxury cruiser - Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 2000 - and it shares the same platform and equipment with the Jaguar S-Type. On my last road trip it used only 8.0 liters per 100 kilometers - very economical.
It's been stored awhile, so I blew the dust off, washed it, and it looks like could go back on the showroom floor.
The car shines like a new dime - inside, outside, and under the hood. There is no rust anywhere. The Parchment-cream leather interior is spotless, with no creases or wear marks on the leather or anywhere else in the interior.
I'm the second old-guy to own this garage queen. As you can tell from the mileage, neither of us used it much. It's been a Summer toy to me, too, however I have too many toys and need some space for a new truck.
I have my toys detailed before I store them for the Winter, and that's been done.
This sale includes the owner's manual, both key fobs, and all the maintenance / service records since day 1. All the maintenance is up-to-date, and recent items included new Iridium IX spark plugs, Mobil 1 synthetic oil (5W30), oil filter, air filter, and cabin filter. The next oil and filter change is due at 74,000 kilometers.
The battery was replaced in March, 2016, when the original finally croaked while in storage.
The coolant was replaced in July, 2013. The next coolant change is due in 2023.
The tires have 15,000 kilometers on them, and were replaced due to their age, not wear.
