Job Description: Senior Facilities Designer - Calgary Our Client is a premier energy service company operating in Western Canada building its integral foundation on customer service, safety, quality and teamwork. Our client requires enthusiastic, organized and result orientated individuals to join their team of passionate and energetic professionals. They are currently looking for a Senior Facilities Designer. Position Overview The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: ? Providing conceptual front end layout and design for facilities. ? Develop preliminary design for projects under consideration. ? Drafting of engineering drawings in support of business development, regulatory, and operations initiatives. ? Ensuring design standards are met by third party consultants. ? Establish and maintain drawing records system. ? Ensure documents meet standards for management of change (MOC) process. ? Project management tasks including man-hour estimating, budgeting, and scheduling. Qualifications The successful candidate will have: ? Diploma in engineering design and drafting technology or related degree/diploma. ? Minimum 10 years? experience in the design of oil & gas facilities or industrial facilities. ? Strong working CAD knowledge (2D and 3D). ? Strong interpersonal and communications skills. ? Strong attentions to detail and ability to work independently. ?
