Antique Grand Piano: Heintzman Semi-Grand in Calgary, Alberta for sale

-built in 1929 (serial number 83016)

-This piano can be placed/used in a home, but would also do very well in a church, recital hall, small concert hall or the like.

-some history of the piano: purchased in 2005 from Central Tabernacle. The piano was in their second sanctuary and had been donated in loving memory of Reverend D.N. Buntain, D.D.. (inscription plate that was on the piano available).

-restoration and refinishing work done by Greg Young (initial repair of the case and music stand), Rick Weins (hammer reshaping, full regulation of the action and other small repair work on the action), and Don's Piano Warehouse in St. Albert, Alberta (refinished the entire case/exterior parts; repaired and refinished the soundboard, refinished the plate, installed new decals, replaced/installed a new pin block, also new pins and new strings (new liner felts in the string area also), and put on new castors (the originals were missing as the piano had been on a spider dolly -- late 2007/early2008).

-The action (hammers, keys, dampers, etc.) is still original to when purchased in 2005; however, as mentioned, it has been improved by way of hammer reshaping and a full regulation.

-piano finish: satin cherry walnut. As far as I know, there is only one small knick in the finish. Otherwise it is in brand new condition.

-comes with an artist bench, in a high-gloss finish (similar color to the piano) with leather-padded adjustable seat (brand new in 2007/2008 when I had the refinishing/restoration work done).

-personal piano; has been hardly played since mid-2011 but has been tuned since to maintain it.

-Value of piano: approximately $24,000. Asking $20,900.00 obo

-Buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs, freight, insurance, etc..
